The 5.5mm Association is a group of like-minded railway modellers working in 5.5mm (1/55th) and 6mm (1/50th) scales. Most are modelling around 2 foot narrow gauge on 12mm track or 3 foot narrow gauge on 16.5mm track. However, some model 15-18 inch gauge on 9mm track and 3 foot 6 inch gauge on 3/4" gauge track. One member of the Association has even built a 5.5mm scale standard gauge tram!
